On 4th May there will be an election for the Parish Council.

Breckland Council manage the election and applications to be a councilor are now open.

This is your chance to have a say on what happens in the village. There are 5 councillors for Oxborough and one of them could be you.

You can download an nomination form here, which needs to be filled in and returned to Breckland Council. There is a document of guidance notes here. You will need two proposers for the application.

The form must be returned in person to the address below, not posted.

The deadline for entries is 4 pm on Tuesday, 4th April 2023.

We have 5 councillors in Oxborough. If there are more than 5 applications there will be an election. This will be held on Thursday 4th May.

The polls will close at 10pm, and the results are usually published on the Friday afternoon on the Breckland Council website and the Breckland Elections Twitter feed.
