Following an Oxborough Parish Council meeting this evening, there is an update on the play area for Oxborough.

Oxborough Farms Ltd are sending a letter to the council to state that they agree to there being a play area on the green. But there are some conditions.

• The equipment has to be in line with the proposal already put forward, to make sure the equipment is in keeping with the character of the village.
• It has to be in a different location to that initally proposed. It should be along the hedge near the pub.
• The agreement would be that it would be there for 5 years at which point the council would have to re-apply to keep it there for longer.

The council will now look through the proposal and discuss it. There should be a response to it in the coming weeks.
