Message from Parish clerk :

The meeting tomorrow has been postponed until the following week.

The reason is that one of our councillors resigned overnight (Graham Allison) so the meeting would not be quorate, as only 2 councillors remain and of course we need 3 councillors to hold a meeting.

So, tomorrow morning, Breckland Council will make an order to appoint our District Councillor, Mr. Mike Nairn, to be a councillor for the Parish of Oxborough.He will take on the role of Acting Chair at the start of the meeting and call for nominations for the Chair.  Once the Chair is appointed, the two persons who have come forward can then be co-opted.  Once they have signed the letter of appointment, Mr. Nairn will stand down from the Council as then the PC would have a quorum without him.
